Thomas Upham House residents welcome visitors!
Preschoolers from the Medfield Integrated Preschool recently went on a field trip !
The children traveled to the Thomas Upham House on Main Street to visit the residents and bring them some holiday cheer!
This was the first year the preschoolers visited, but they are hoping to continue to make this an annual visit and have this become a preschool tradition.

Preschool teacher Mrs. DeGeorge and some of the preschool Moms accompanied the children on this field trip. "It was great to see the smiles on the residents' faces and to see them join in singing carols" said DeGeorge. She went on to say that the children were shy at first, but quickly warmed up.
The children interacted with over 20 residents at the Upham House and sang songs as well as giving out gifts that they had made and wrapped (star and snowflake shaped salt dough ornaments) and they happily helped some of the residents open their gifts, shook their hands and wished them a Merry Christmas.
