“The Lions Club of Medfield was chartered on December 29, 1944 with forty-two members under the sponsored of the Lions Club of Holliston. Among the first members were Medfield citizens whose names we recognize today, such as Robert Larkin, Raymond Lord, Robert K. McCarthy, Sr., William Palumbo, Orlando Rossi and Alfredo Zullo. Lions have a reputation as the “Doers” in their community. The Lions motto, “We Serve”, is exemplified in the many tangible ways. Lions help to make the world a better place, both at home and abroad.
