A reader just commented on my Sunday blog that “it would be helpful to know who the blogger/poster is (re: community member, developer, etc.)” I couldn’t agree more. Case in point is the letter submitted by Alec Stevens “Do we have the foresight…..” Mr. Stevens expresses a range of opinions and makes a number of assertions without revealing that he is the owner of Red Gate Farm and that the land in question is literally in his back yard. In contrast, Sean McEntee, the prospective developer, has prefaced all of his postings by stating his interest in the property. Mr. Stevens’ personal interests are understandable, but readers should be able to weigh those interests when evaluating his comments. For the record, I am a 44 year resident of Medfield, with no financial or other connection to the property.
