Special HOLIDAY Programs At Park & Rec

With the December holiday season upon us, we wanted to send out a reminder of some special programs we are running at Medfield Parks & Recreation this December. Registration is open for all these programs, and space is limited, so don’t delay!

ELF ON THE SHELF PARTY

Led by instructor Ana Conneely, this will be an evening of fun with everyone’s favorite Elf. We will serve cheese pizza from Royal for dinner, and we will do some elf-themed crafts and games. As we wind down our afternoon, An Elf’s Story: The Elf on the Shelf Movie will be shown so we can all learn how Chippy and his friends began this holiday tradition!

Thursday Dec. 6 OR Dec. 13, 5:15-7:15PM, $30 per child

GINGERBREAD HOUSE DECORATING PARTY

Join in the annual tradition of decorating a gingerbread house with instructor Ana Conneely. Each child will decorate their own house with all kinds of fun and delicious goodies, and they get to take it home to (maybe) share with the family! Our first two sessions sold out fast, so we have added a third class!

Monday Dec. 17, 5:15-6:15PM, $25 per child

HOLIDAY FUN CLUB

Join Coach Kevin and some of our Summer Discovery Camp staff for some holiday fun at the Pfaff! Kids will enjoy some holiday-themed crafts, games, activities, cookie decorating and movies as we soak in the spirit of the holidays! Take some time to get last minute items checked off your To-Do List while the kids are entertained!

Saturday Dec. 8, 10am-2pm, $39 per child

MOVIE NIGHT: POLAR EXPRESS

Kids can hop on the Polar Express for our annual holiday edition of Kids Night Out. This is annually our biggest movie night! Pizza will be served from Royal, ice cream sundaes will be for desert and juice boxes and water will be available for all kids. Perfect for any kids ages 4-12! Do not delay in registering, this will sell out!

SANTA VISITS THE PFAFF

Santa has once again found some time in his busy schedule to visit with the good boys and girls of Medfield (and surrounding towns) at the Pfaff Center. Kids will be able to tell Santa what they want under the tree this year, and you’ll be able to snap photos with Santa as well. Light refreshments will be provided by Park & Rec, and admission is a non-perishable food or cash donation to the Medfield Food Cupboard. Pre-registration is required.

HOLIDAY MUSIC SING-A-LONG

Stacey Peasley of Lucky Day Music and the Stacey Peasley Band will perform some holiday favorites at the Pfaff Center! Stacey will be performing from 6:15-7pm, but everyone that pre-registers is welcome to come at 6pm to enjoy some cheese pizza before the performance. (Additional slices of pizza for adults will be available for a cash donation to the Medfield Food Cupboard.)

DECEMBER DISCOVERY

Join our Summer Discovery Camp staff for some December school vacation fun! We will offer registration by the day for the week after Christmas. Kids will enjoy various arts & crafts, games and activities that they would experience at a typical half day of our summer camp! This is also a great way for new campers to experience what the summer will be like!
