Support The Medfield Lions & MFD Golf Ball Drop

The 4th Annual Medfield Lions & Medfield Fire Dept. Golf Ball Drop, April 27th at Wheelock School Grounds

The Medfield Lions have chosen to donate all proceeds from this year's Golf Ball Drop to the BLAKE MIDDLE SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP FUND!

With assistance from the Medfield Fire Department (and their Ladder Truck), the Golf Ball Drop is a fun event, held on the grounds of Wheelock School, and it is way in which everyone in the community can participate by purchasing "numbered" golf balls ($5/each) and potentially WIN $400 (closest to the pin) or $100 (farthest from the pin), when the fireman drops ALL SOLD GOLF BALLS from the end of the ladder truck, while also benefiting the Blake Scholarship Fund.

For many years, 8th grade students go on an awesome field trip to visit both New York City (Statue of Liberty and 911 Memorial) and Washington, DC (Lincoln Memorial, MLK Memorial, the U.S. Capitol and the WWII Memorial), and it is an opportunity of a lifetime for some students, but
this trip costs $1,500 per student. The Blake Middle School Scholarship Fund was created to financially assist and support all and any families in order that all students are able to participate in this extraordinary and meaningful learning experience.

In the past few years, the Medfield Lions have had an incredible response from the community with over 1,200 golf balls "SOLD" and dropped to the ground, bringing in approximately $6,000. The Lions are hopeful that THIS YEAR, the community will support this cause and we'll sell EVEN MORE!

The Medfield Lions encourage families to purchase golf balls via Venmo QR Code (on flyer below) or @Medfield-Lions or via Cash/Check by calling Lion John Carey at 781-929-1251. Please include your NAME and CELL# when buying via VENMO and you will receive a text with your Golf Ball #s and confirm your purchase. We encourage people to attend, if possible, but you DO NOT have to be in attendance to win.
