Gill answers the essential question as to why Medfield citizens so overwhelmingly voted to acquire this singularly beautiful property. Simply stated, Medfield’s citizens understand and appreciate value and, specifically, the great value open space affords the community through its environmental, recreational, scenic and spirit lifting qualities.
Medfield voters must now reaffirm, by paper ballot, the Town Meeting’s vote. Please do that with a “yes” vote on Monday at the Ice House Road Center at Medfield. A “yes” vote honors the analogous decisions of past generations, benefits the present and constitutes a gift to the future.
