Tech Advisors doubles space at Medfield, MA location; additional growth cited as reason

IT company founded by CPAs expands services and office space, looks at additional growth

Tech Advisors (http://techadvisors.com), a leading technology solution provider for small to mid-sized businesses and founded by CPAs, has doubled its Medfield, MA headquarters, citing strong growth and the anticipation of adding new technicians to the operation as the driving reasons for the expansion.

Tech Advisors operates locations in Boston, and in Medfield, Ma. Their Medfield location, at 266 Main Street, is central is central for both administrative and technical support functions, and the firm has additional space for operations as well as a conference center for upcoming proposed cyber security seminars.

Konrad Martin, Chief Executive Officer of the firm that he launched with his twin brother Kevin in 2005, said that they had been weighing several options to address their needs for additional space.

“Growth is great and it is exciting, but we faced the challenge of needing increased office space,” Martin said, adding, “Fortunately and conveniently, we have been able to acquire additional adjacent space in our present office building in Medfield.” The Tech Advisors office space has increased to nearly 3,000 square feet.

Martin said that the build-out for their new space was completed recently. “Our Medfield operations center is a critical hub of our business, and we are pleased that we can remain at the same address and accommodate our needs at the same time.”

Tech Advisors has qualified for the Boston Business Journal’s Pacesetters/Fast 50 list for the last two years. The list honors the Greater Boston’s fifty fastest-growing businesses based on their revenue increases over a three-year consecutive period. Martin said that the firm has added more than a dozen key clients this quarter, and as the firm continues its conversion from a “break and fix” mode to a more ongoing model of maintenance for clients, they will add more technicians to accommodate the demand. “Before, we followed a model where we helped clients take care of their IT symptoms, and increasingly we help clients take care of their infrastructure’s overall health.” He added, “We have had a number of requests for additional seminars as well, and we plan to launch a series of seminars on how businesses can protect themselves against hacking and other dangers.”
