Thank you Santa, Mrs. Claus and Medfield!
Under rainy weather conditions on Saturday, Santa and Mrs. Claus prevailed and rode all over Medfield bringing cheer to the children.
Santa and Mrs. Claus traveled the (many) streets of Medfield ...
It was a good thing that Santa is very used to bad weather conditions because on Saturday afternoon when he and Mrs. Claus traveled to Medfield from the North Pole and rode throughout the town on a Medfield Fire truck the weather was cold, rainy and nasty!
The children and families of Medfield were all a buzz waiting to hear the sirens on the Fire truck and the police cars that followed Santa and Mrs. Claus after they left the Public Safety Building at 1pm so they could wave from their front yards or their windows.
The caravan of vehicles beginning with Santa, Mrs. Claus and their Fire truck driver from the MFD, were followed by a Medfield DPW dump truck, a police cruiser and finally followed by MPD Chief Michelle Guerette in another police vehicle. The entire route took nearly 3 hours and the sounds of Santa all around town could be heard from miles away.

Knowing Santa and the Mrs. are quite busy this time of year, thank you MEMO (Medfield Employers and Merchants Organization) and especially to MEMO Chair-Elf Alison Brown of Coldwell Banker Realty for contacting Santa and Mrs. Claus early and getting a visit to Medfield on their calendar. Also a huge thank you to MFD Chief Carrico for drawing up the route and MPD Chief Guerette for keeping Santa and everyone safe while traveling the roads of Medfield.
It was a very busy day for Santa and Mrs. Claus but now they are back at the North Pole getting back to the business at hand. Their visit was a special treat for all in Medfield as joy and happiness was in the air and smiles were seen on the faces of the children.
