Thanksgiving Pizza Party for Medfield Elementary Students

A group of parents will be hosting a Thanksgiving pizza party at the gazebo and adjacent park on Wed., Nov. 23rd at 11:45am.

Medfield Parents to Kickoff Thanksgiving Holiday Break with Pizza Party for all Students

Event will host a food drive and a park naming contest

A group of parents will be hosting an event at the gazebo and adjacent park immediately following the half day of school on Wednesday, November 23. The gathering will cater primarily to elementary school students from Medfield.

There will be free pizza, beverages, games, and face-painting. Medfield High School student musicians will provide entertainment from under the gazebo. Students who donate a canned good or non-perishable item to the Medfield Food Cupboard will get a raffle ticket for prize giveaways. Police detail will provide a safe pickup location on Main Street.

Organizers will be accepting submissions by students for the “Give this park a name!” contest. The park is often referred to as “Gazebo Park” although that is not an official name. The most popular submissions will be voted on by students at a later date.

WHO: This event is open to Medfield students especially in the elementary schools.
WHAT: Free pizza, beverages, games, music, raffles, and more. The event will include a food drive to benefit the Medfield Food Pantry. There will also be a contest to give the park an official name.
WHEN: Wednesday, November 23, 2022, 11:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

WHERE: The Gazebo and adjacent park

WHY: To kick off the holiday season for the kids and help bring the community together


This special occasion is a public-private collaboration to promote goodwill and help bring the community together.

Parent organizers have teamed up with the Town of Medfield, Medfield Police, Medfield High School student volunteers and musicians, Medfield Alumni Association, Medfield Food Cupboard,, Royal Pizza, Park Street Books, Razza Law Offices, and Stone Age Granite to make this celebration possible.
