Third Saturday of Medfield Green Month

Reminder - this Saturday, May 17th is the Third Saturday of Medfield Green Month from 9-1 at the Transfer Station (rain or shine)

We will be collecting clothing, business attire and shoes.  Look for us next to the Goodwill trailer.  Clothing will be donated to Goodwill.  Business attire, which is appropriate for job interviews, will be donated to Dress for Success (women) or the Salvation Army (men). 

The shoes are being collected as a fundraiser for the Miss Amazing Pageant.  Medfield High School students put together the first Massachusetts Miss Amazing Pageant in December, 2013 and plans are underway for another one. Their mission is to provide opportunities for girls and women with disabilities to build self- confidence in a supportive environment. They have partnered with Shoe Box Recycling, which is an organization that provides gently used shoes for reuse. The Miss Amazing Pageant will earn money for every pound of shoes collected!  Look for their collection box next to the Goodwill trailer.

The Medfield Girl Scouts will be holding a can and bottle drive.  Look for them near the can and bottle collection bins between the tip floor and the shed.

Transfer sticker required - need one? They can be purchased at Town Hall for $25
