A Medfield Historical Minute...

This "Medfield Historical Minute" is brought to you by town historian Richard DeSorgher.
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis. A different "Medfield Historical Minute" will appear each day during the Crisis.

"On Sunday, May 7, 1899 at exactly 1:14 pm, the first electric trolley car arrived in Medfield on the Medfield-Dedham Trolley line. The trolley was here in Medfield for 25 years from 1899 until it was put out of business by the automobile in 1924."
