A Medfield Historical Minute...

This "Medfield Historical Minute" is brought to you by town historian Richard DeSorgher.
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis. A different "Medfield Historical Minute" will appear each day during the Crisis.

"In June 1962 Superintendent of Schools Tomas A Blake and MHS principal Charles Mains saw 39 seniors graduate at the first graduation exercises held in the new Medfield Junior-Senior High School on 24 Pound Street. During the ceremony, Rev. Lawrence Ryan of St. Edward Church delivered the invocation, George Sweeney, president of the Class of 1962, gave an address of welcome and diplomas were awarded by Walter Frank, chairman of the Medfield School Committee."
