Representatives from MAPC and the Medfield Energy Committee will be on hand to present the plan and facilitate discussion. The TOMCAP Committee is seeking public input into the plan as well as support of the plan. The TOMCAP Committee has been working tirelessly developing and writing the draft under the leadership of Hilli Passas. Hilli commented, “Since being charged with making a climate action plan for Medfield at the May 2021 Town Meeting, the TOMCAP work group has worked hard to draft this plan, engaging with the public and consulting with experts locally and around Massachusetts. We are proud to present this list of priority actions for Medfield to the residents and the Town leadership.”
MAPC is the regional planning agency for the Greater Boston Area, covering 101 cities and towns. MAPC’s Clean Energy Department has helped numerous cities and towns develop climate action plans and Net Zero plans, including Arlington, Melrose, and Natick. Cara Goodman, Clean Energy Specialist II at MAPC states “MAPC is excited to help facilitate this TOMCAP workshop and engage Medfield residents in the planning process.
