Troop 89 Invited Medfield Kids to experience scouting at Cub Scout Camporee
The scouts of Troop 89 Medfield are inviting all Medfield kids currently in Kindergarten through 5th grade to join their annual Cub Scout Camporee at the Fin, Fur, Feather Club in Millis.
The Cub Scout Camporee (May 20-21) is an opportunity to experience the Scouting BSA program and learn more about Medfield Cub Scouts Packs 113 and 200. The scouts of Troop 89 are planning a fun-filled day of outdoor activities like canoeing along the Charles River, fishing, and a Dutch oven dessert cook-off, followed by a campfire program and an outdoor movie.
"Our scouts look forward to this event every year. It is refreshing to see kids of all ages enjoying all of the wonders of the great outdoors," said Scoutmaster Hatch.

Here are the details of this event:
- Who: All current Medfield students in grades 1-5 who are interested in learning more about the Cub Scout program and Scouting BSA
- Where: Fin, Fur Feather Club in Millis
- When: May 20-21th, 10:30 am - 10:30 am.
- RSVP by 5/8 - email Troop89newsletter@gmail.com for a link to the sign up form.
- Cost: The cost is $25 per person (scouts, parents, and any siblings), which simply covers the cost of food and the patch. Payments can be made by check (payable to Troop 89), Venmo (@paytroop89), or Paypal (paytroop89@gmail.com).
Note: With all of the activities scouts are involved in these days, you are more than welcome to come and go for those various commitments. Parents DO NOT have to stay during the day (providing we are aware of it), but they are required to spend the night (Cub Scout policy).

Service, Community engagement, and leadership development are integral to the Scouts BSA program. Medfield Troop 89 is a Mayflower Scouts BSA Council member chartered to the Friends of Troop 89, Inc.
