A Medfield Historical Minute...

This "Medfield Historical Minute" is brought to you by town historian Richard DeSorgher.
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis. A different "Medfield Historical Minute" will appear each day during the Crisis.

"On October 20, 1658 John Bower of Bridge Street posted on the Meetinghouse door a notice which read: “Strayed away from me one red steer, two years old; has the Medfield brand on his rump and my mark, namely….two holes through the top of the left ear and one notch on the inside of the other ear.”
