A Medfield Historical Minute...

This "Medfield Historical Minute" is brought to you by town historian Richard DeSorgher.
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis. A different "Medfield Historical Minute" will appear each day during the Crisis.

"Medfield’s first Superintendent of Schools was Abner A. Badger who served in that capacity from 1899-1905. There has been a total of 18 Superintendents of Schools. The longest serving Superintendent was Thomas A. Blake who served 16 years from 1957-1972, followed by Lyman R. Allen who served 15 years from 1929 1943 and Robert Maguire who also served 15 years from 1999-2013."
