Twenty-second Week, Thursday's "Medfield Historical Minute"
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis.

A Medfield Historical Minute...
This "Medfield Historical Minute" is brought to you by town historian Richard DeSorgher.
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis. A different "Medfield Historical Minute" will appear each day during the Crisis.
"In 1695 Joseph Morse became the first native-born of Medfield to graduate from Harvard College. He taught school in Dedham that same year and in what is now the town of Weston in 1701. He was ordained a minister and preached in Weston until 1706 when he removed to what is now Canton. There he became its first minister."
