A Medfield Historical Minute...

This "Medfield Historical Minute" is brought to you by town historian Richard DeSorgher.
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis. A different "Medfield Historical Minute" will appear each day during the Crisis.

"On July 4, 1976, in salute to our country’s Bicentennial, Medfield joined with her sister towns across the nation by tolling her church bells at 2:00 pm. The Unitarian, Baptist and St Edward Church bells rang simultaneously and were preceded by the blowing of “1776” on the town fire whistle."
