A Medfield Historical Minute...

This "Medfield Historical Minute" is brought to you by town historian Richard DeSorgher.
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis. A different "Medfield Historical Minute" will appear each day during the Crisis.

"Medfield’s Community Gardens opened for the first time on May 1, 1976 on a parcel of town owned land off Dale Street adjacent to the Town DPW Garage. It was divided into 42 lots, all of which were taken for an annual rental fee of $5. The site of the Community Gardens later moved to North Street and because of the expansion of the Memorial School to its current site on Plain Street."
