A Medfield Historical Minute...

This "Medfield Historical Minute" is brought to you by town historian Richard DeSorgher.
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis. A different "Medfield Historical Minute" will appear each day during the Crisis.

"In 1828 the second library in Medfield was started. The stockholders paid $4 a share. It was kept at the store on the corner of Main and North Streets (site of today’s Starbucks) and contained one thousand books. Many of the books, however, were bought at auction in Boston, and were not of great value."
