VIDEO: Highlights of Medfield Indoor Track Teams At TVL Meet

The Medfield High School boys' and girls' indoor track teams competed in the Tri-Valley League Championships on Feb. 6 at the Reggie Lewis Arena in Boston.
The boys', coming off an undefeated dual-meet season and Tri-Valley League title, finished tied for second with Westwood behind first-place Hopkinton. The Warriors had defeated the Hillers in the last meet of the season to win the TVL.
Medfield's Brian D’Amore came in first in the 55-meter dash and James Marvel-Coen won the 55-meter hurdles. Mike Creedon finished second in the 2-mile run. Warriors' shot putters finished fourth through seventh in the event (Luke Barrett, Chris Triest, Ife Adebayo and Matt Russell). Ben Lester placed second in the 1,000 meters and Joey Smith finished fourth.

The girls' track team placed fourth in the field of nine. Alex Stanton won the TVL title in the 600 meters, won the long jump and placed second in the 55 meter hurdles. Chrissy Grech finished sixth in the 55 meter hurdles, Taylor Worthy finished fifth in the 300 meter dash and Kristina Gustafson finished fifth in the 55 meter dash.
