The Massachusetts Department of Transportation is moving forward on projects to rehabilitate the West Street Bridge and the Route 109 Bridge on the Medfield/Millis line. AETNA Bridge Company will facilitate the work.
The project will begin September 14, proceed through the fall of 2020, and continue as long as weather allows. The project will then resume during the 2021 road construction season. Traffic management on both bridges will strive to allow two lanes of traffic; however, there may be times when delays occur and traffic is limited to one lane. Please seek alternate routes if possible during the construction process.

At this time, the contractor is mobilizing equipment to the site and setting up work zones around the bridge areas. Thank you for your cooperation and patience as the Commonwealth makes improvements to these two bridges.
