In less than two weeks, students in Medfield will head back to the classroom, officially kicking off the school year on Wednesday, Aug. 27.

So for freshmen at Medfield High School, when is this year’s orientation?

Freshman orientation takes place the same day as the first day of school, and as part of that, ninth graders will take part in several activities to help ease them into the high school experience.

> Opening Remarks: 7:40 a.m.
> Orientation in Homerooms: 8:10-10 a.m.
> Student/Parent Handbook and Forms Issued
> Passing Out of Student Schedules and Tour of Building
> Detailed Handbook Review
> Wrap-Up: 10 a.m.
