And The Winner of the Mystery Chowder Tasting Is...
The annual Lions ChowderFest, this year named the "Mystery Chowder Tasting, was held on Saturday, November 4th at The Center at Medfield.
Lions Sponsored Mystery Chowder Tasting Winner Revealed!
Chowder lovers came out in droves to the Medfield Lions Mystery Chowder Tasting to taste 5 chowders and vote for their favorite one....all donated by local restaurants!
The annual Lions Chowderfest, this year named the "Mystery Chowder Tasting, was held on Saturday, November 4th at The Center at Medfield.
This year, the chowders were NOT labeled with restaurant names, only labeled by NUMBER! Patrons tasted chowders without knowing which establishment provided it and voted for their favorite one.

Participating restaurants, providing chowder were, The Village Griddle (North Meadows Road), Basil (Frairy Street), Noon Hill Grill (Main Street), The Ice House (Ice House Road) and Avenue (corner of Janes Avenue & Main Street). Blue Moon Bagel Cafe provided rolls and The Village Griddle provided soup crackers.
This year's event brought in close to $1,000 from admission sales and another $250 from the 50/50 Raffle. Although the Medfield Lions organize, work and host this event, ALL PROCEEDS are DONATED to FOSI (Friends of Seniors).

Congratulations to Avenue, voted this year's BEST CHOWDER winner and congrats to a very happy Medfield resident won $125 in the 50/50 Raffle.
