Women’s club presents data related to the value of friendship
"The Value of Friendship" highlights the benefits of friendship, especially female friendships, just in time for Gal-entine's Day
On Tuesday, Feb. 7, at 10:30 a.m., The Hannah Adams Woman’s Club will present “Celebrating Gal-entine’s Day: The Value of Friendship” with Theresa Knapp. The presentation will highlight qualitative data and quantitative research related to the importance and health benefits of female friendships. The Hannah Adams Woman's Club is the longest continuously-running women's group in America. It was established in 1894 in memory of Medfield resident Hannah Adams (1755-1831, the nation’s first female professional writer) who ran a similar group during her lifetime. The HAWC is committed to supporting women and the community, including the annual Hannah Adams Scholarship (est. 1905).
