Highway Projects: Philip Street Bridge Replacement

The Philip Street Bridge was closed by MassDOT engineers in August of 2016 in need of repair. The Town had applied for a Municipal Small Bridge Initiative Grant and with the help from Representative Dooley's office at the State House in Boston, we received $100,000 to replace the bridge. After months of planning, design and construction, in July of 2018 the bridge was reopened to the public.
