The restaurant's website currently displays a similar message.
"We are closed, sorry for the inconvenience."
Real Italian Gusto opened in Medford Square in 2015 after founders Francesca and Matteo Ronzio relocated to the Boston area from Italy. The couple said they wanted to bring authentic Italian cuisine and dining traditions to the community, serving dishes prepared with a mix of locally sourced ingredients and specialty products imported from Italy.
The restaurant became known for its Neapolitan-style pizzas, homemade pasta and traditional Italian entrees. Its menu also featured panini, salads, desserts and an extensive selection of Italian wines, beers, and espresso drinks.
Patch has reached out to the establishment for further details and information regarding the closure.
