• First responders train to stop active shooters in Massachusetts (wwlp.com) — Medford hosted a major active-shooter response training at Tufts University, where local police and firefighters joined state agencies to practice coordinated tactics for crisis situations. The course was part of a broader Massachusetts effort that has trained more than 1,000 first responders this year, aiming to improve how quickly teams can stop attackers and reach victims during emergencies across the state.
