• Celebrate Medway Day is Saturday, July 18 (town.news) — Medway residents can mark their calendars for Celebrate Medway Day on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at Choate Park, combining the former Celebrate Medway and Pride of Medway events into one big community celebration. Expect afternoon booths from local businesses and organizations, family activities like live music, face painting, bounce houses, and kayaking, all capped by an evening fireworks show. 
• Middletown Mayhem Leads To Mass Arrests On Second Beach: Police (patch.com) — Two 18-year-olds from Medway were among nine teens arrested after a large, unruly gathering of more than 1,000 youths at Second Beach in Middletown, Rhode Island. Police say the crowd became disorderly, officers used pepper spray, and several people, including a Newport officer, were treated at the hospital.
