Beginning in August, A Plus Tutoring, 6 Eastman Place in Melrose Center, is running two innovative programs.
A Plus Boot Camp is an intensive four-day study program for students entering sixth grade. It is designed to refresh skills and prepare students for middle school. The program, which runs Monday, Aug. 20, through Thursday, Aug. 23, is designed to improve reading and math skills, as well as help develop good study habits and time management.
A Plus Math School prepares students to excel in math, compete on standardized tests (SAT) and pursue college mathematics, science and engineering studies. Students can choose Pre-algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2 and Geometry.

Beginning, Saturday, Sept. 15, the 90-minute classes run all day on Saturdays as well as Tuesday and Thursday evenings for the entire school year.
