Boston-area web developer BKJ Productions has moved to 99 Washington Street, Suite 215, in Melrose, MA. Taking advantage of the classic "loft-style" spaces available at Marty's Furniture Realty Trust, "this is a fantastic location for our shop," said Brian Johnson, president. "The new space gives us room to expand when we're ready. Plus with the high ceilings there is plenty of room to literally bounce ideas around." (The former location was in Malden Center.)
Apart from the convenient location near the Orange Line, a key benefit is high speed fiber optic service available in Melrose. There are also related businesses including photographers in the same building.
BKJ Productions was established in 1991, providing a variety of graphic design services (both print and electronic) to small-to-medium sized businesses. "Despite the economic slump, we continue to produce websites at an increasing pace," said Johnson. Local websites include those for the Melrose Alliance Against Violence, the League of Women Voters, and both the Everett and Malden Chambers of Commerce, among others.
