MELROSE, MA — The Melrose Police logs for the final week of March saw a number of arrests and/or summonses for people who allegedly had a suspended license - or no license at all. Plus, some frisky turkeys.

Monday, March 26

8:20 a.m. - Malden Police called to report an assault at Town Line Motel. The person left the area without speaking with police.

8:44 a.m - A 29-year-old Brockton man was summonsed on charges of violating an abuse prevention order on Hurd Street.

11:53 a.m. - A 45-year-old Danvers man was summonsed on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, subsequent offense, at Main and Boardman.

2:13 p.m. - Report of counterfeit money at Main Street gas station.

Tuesday, March 27

6:59 a.m. - A 45-year-old Revere man was summonsed on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding at Linwood and Sylvan.

Wednesday, March 28

5:41 p.m. - Caller makes anonymous claim that kids are trashing Dunkin' Donuts.

9:27 p.m. - A 52-year-old woman arrested on East Emerson on a warrant arrest.

Thursday, March 29

4:57 p.m. - A 45-year-old Lynn man arrested on unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stop/yield.

5:13 p.m. - Report of turkey chasing people in area of Park and Linwood. Animal control notified.

6:23 p.m. - Report of possible fraud involving local college tuition.

6:36 p.m. - Caller reported a male checking car doors and dancing around in Cedar Park lot.

Friday, March 30

11:55 a.m. - A 36-year-old Lynn man was summonsed on operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and red light violation at Main and Franklin.

5:31 p.m. - Walk-in report of damage to a motor vehicle caused by an open manhole on Warwick at Sears.

6:30 p.m. - Caller reports two kids trying to hit a turkey with a stick.

Saturday, March 31

7:15 a.m. - Caller reports kids playing hockey in Ryder Ave. No problem found by police.
