Monday, April 16

8:32 a.m. - Report of a homeless man sleeping in Bank of America ATM.

3:32 p.m. - Report of manhole cover flipped over on Upham Street.

3:59 p.m. - Resident reports incident that took place at Shell gas station. A 40-year-old Melrose man and 41-year-old Hamstead, N.H. man issued summons on assault and battery charges.

Tuesday, March 17

1:51 p.m. - Report of resident said to be acting up in community room on Nason Dr. A 55-year-old Melrose man is put into protective custody.

2:08 p.m. Report of jumpy dog in park on leash in violation of posted signs near Horace Mann.

4:05 p.m. - Walk-in report of someone violating restraining order. A 47-year-old Melrose man issued summons on two charges of violating abuse prevention order.

7:36 p.m. - Walk-in report of someone violating restraining order. A 37-year-old Pelham, N.H. man issued summons on charge of violating abuse prevention order.

Wednesday, April 18

9:21 p.m. - Report of a large group of kids in the area of Swains Pond and Dexter.

Thursday, April 19

9:45 a.m. - Women field report about dog bite near Melrose Towers.

5:20 p.m. - Caller reports two males yelling at each out on Lynde Street.

Saturday, April 21

4:24 p.m - Report of someone trying to steal a gas grill from a person's property on Sylvan Street. The person fled when confronted.

5:29 p.m. - Report of teens on motorized scooters drinking alcohol on Lynn Fells Pkwy. Police spoke to riders - it wasn't alcohol - and one of the scooters was broken down and needed a tow.

5:48 pm. - Report of an unknown muscle car with very loud exhaust speeding through Green Street area.
