MassCommute Bicycle Challenge May 11-19
YOU ARE INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE MASSCOMMUTE BICYCLE CHALLENGE MAY 11-19!

Now in its 19th year, the MassCommute Bicycle Challenge (MCBC) is a week-long, free and friendly competition amongst Massachusetts businesses, educational institutions, and municipalities. Anyone who lives, works or attends school in Massachusetts is encouraged to register and take a few short (or even long) trips by bicycle during Bay State Bike Week, which runs from May 11th-May 19th, 2013.
As a part of Bay State Bike Week (http://baystatebikeweek.org), the Melrose Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee invites you to participate! Any individual is welcome to participate in the MCBC. Teams are workplace based.

Participating is fun and easy...and there are prizes! Simply register for the MCBC here: http://masscommutebicyclechallenge.org/registration/, ride your bike as many times as possible to work, for errands, out to lunch or dinner - any place that you might normally drive your car. Then log your total miles commuted by bike for each day during May 11-19. Let’s all work together to make a great showing for Melrose!
