By and large the city of Melrose has done an extremely good job in keeping streets open. First, during the storm the goal was for emergency traffic and then later the widening and trimming for everyday traffic. Yes, as of this writing (monday AM) there are still a few spots to be cleaned out (like Cedar Park) but overall the Melrose DPW and the Melrose Police have performed very well.
