Oktoberfest Beer Garden with the Melrose Farmers' Market and Hannah's Brewing Co.

The Melrose Farmers' Market is hosting another family-friendly beer garden on Thursday, October 1, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Bowden Park. In partnership with Hannah's Brewing Co., proceeds from the event support the Market’s SNAP Match program, which helps local residents using SNAP benefits purchase fresh, healthy food at the market. The Market’s July “Pints for Produce” beer garden raised $500 for the SNAP Match program, and proceeds from the Oktoberfest event will help continue that support for local food access.

Located in a designated area adjacent to the market, the beer garden will offer a community gathering space where visitors can enjoy locally crafted beer, listen to a live brass polka band, play lawn games, and pick up dinner from the Market’s prepared food vendors. Melrose’s The Kitchen will feature Oktoberfest treats such as pretzels and brats. The Market’s regular vendors will remain open until 6:30 p.m., with several prepared food vendors serving dinner through 7:30 p.m. Guests wishing to enjoy beer from Hannah’s Brewing Co. must be 21 or older and present a valid ID.

The Melrose Farmers' Market is held every Thursday from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Bowden Park and features more than 30 local farms, food producers, artisans, and community organizations, along with live music, children's activities, and educational programming throughout the season.

Community members of all ages are invited to enjoy the market, support local farms and small businesses, and experience the community gathering space while helping strengthen the Market's SNAP Match program.
