Car Takes Down Telephone Pole: Melrose Police Log

Friday, Dec. 13

11:28 p.m. — Ashlyn Lee, 28, of Essex Street was arrested on charges of OUI liquor over .08 percent and marked lanes violation after police said she crashed into a parked car on Greenwood Street.

Saturday, Dec. 14

11:34 a.m. — A car hit a telephone pole at Lebanon and Forest and left the scene. Witnesses followed driver to home in Malden.

Sunday, Dec. 15

5:42 p.m. — Caller reported someone barged into her North Mountain Ave. home and threatened her husband.

5:47 p.m. — Jokel Clerjuste, 40, of West Emerson Street, was issued a summons on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license after a crash on Myrtle Street.

9:16 p.m.— Robert Hyde, 39, of Weatogue, Conn., was issued a summons on a charge of violating an abuse prevention order.

10:58 p.m. — Caller reports he's locked in Shaw's. The night crew arrived and unlocked the store.
