Bob Halloran, weekend sports anchor for WCVB TV SportsCenter 5 and author of the book “Irish Thunder: the hard life and times of Micky Ward” will be speaking at the MPL. Halloran was also a technical consultant for the Paramount Pictures academy award nominated film “The Fighter” starring Mark Wahlberg as Micky Ward and Christian Bale as Micky’s brother Dicky Eklund.
Halloran’s books will be available for purchase and signing the night of the event by Dick Haley of Haley’s Booksellers.
