Monday, July 9

5:47 a.m. - Caller reports man injured in hit and run. Read more about the crash here.

10:29 a.m. - Report of a stolen lawnmower on Mount Vernon.

3:55 p.m. - A 61-year-old Dorchester man was arrested on a warrant at Melrose Wakefield Hospital.

5:54 p.m. - Reports of two trucks dumping in property owner's dumpster on West Wyoming.

Tuesday, July 10

8:35 a.m. - A 5-year-old Lebanon Street resident got summonsed for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle following a crash on Malvern at Lebanon.

5:39 p.m. - Caller reports person falling onto lawns and into Main Street. The 59-year-old Melrose man from Vine Street was placed in protective custody.

Wednesday, July 11

12:50 a.m. - A 44-year-old Melrose man was arrested at his Spear Street home on a warrant.

Friday, July 13

8:46 a.m. - Report of two youths smoking pot on chairs in front of Breuggers.

9:10 p.m. - Caller reports kitten hit by motor vehicle on Upham.

Sunday, July 15

10:01 p.m. - Report of people in parking lot near Vinton looking through vehicles with flashlights.

11:06 p.m. - Caller reported 25-30 kids drinking in Common.
