Hoover School Has a Heck of a Week

The following is from the City of Melrose:

Congratulations to the students, staff, and families of the Hoover School, who took top honors in not one but two events in the past week!

On Thursday, the Hoover School Fifth Grade were the champions of the Rotary Spelling Bee. They had some tough competition from the Lincoln School, which also made it to the finals. Congratulations to Hoover team members (front row) Quinn H., Thea S., Mara T., and (back row) Ava W. and Raessler G.

Then on Saturday evening, the Hoover Hawks prevailed over 35 other teams to emerge the winners of the Trivia Bee! Thanks to Jennifer McAllister and all the hard-working volunteers from The Bridge who made this such a wonderful night, and congratulations to Hoover Hawks Erin Hobin-Audet, Brian Tim, and Chris Lee on their victory!
