Horace Mann School Teams With Rockland Trust Bank For A Read-a-Thon

The Horace Mann school recently partnered with Rockland Trust Bank for a Read-a-Thon. 122 kids participated with a total of 68,654 minutes read. The students with the most minutes read from each class were entered into a raffle for a grand prize gift basket. The winner was First Grader Griffin O'Connor. The class with the highest participation was Mrs. Florino's Kindergarten Class. They were awarded a pizza party with Mayor Dolan along with a tour of City Hall. Melrose Rockland Trust Branch Manager, Will Sullivan presented a check to Horace Mann students for their hard work that will be used for school library improvements.
