Important Note to Dog Walkers at Breakheart Reservation
There are reports of "suspicious packages" along the trails containing substances that appear to be toxic to animals.
Dog owners, take note: If you go to Breakheart Reservation in Saugus, please be mindful of this situation . . . we've spoken with a ranger there, and while any "official statement" from DCR will have to come in the form of a press release, we were able to confirm that they are investigating "suspicious packages, usually paper bags" along the trails containing substances "toxic to animals." Please share this info with others so that they are aware and protect your pups.
