Is America a Racist Country?

Lee Daniels, director & producer of the new film “The Butler”, and actor Lenny Kravitz recently appeared on the Piers Morgan show on Monday and they believe that America is more racist since Obama has been president. Kravitz states as proof the Trayvon Martin killing which he says was racism. This is strange since both legal sides of that case including the judge and mother of Trayvon believe that this act was not based on any racism including the FBI investigation done on George Zimmerman before the trial. The only people who went around saying that the killing was based on racism are the habitual race baiters Reverend Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. This talk all started just after the incident in February 2012 when the main stream media edited sections of the 911 call leaving out critical information giving the impression that Zimmerman was a racist…and then benign pictures of Zimmerman and ignored those pictures showing an injured Zimmerman with head and nose injuries. Later these media outlets admitted these oversights and thought that it would not matter since they believed it would be shown later to be a race motivated act. They were, of course, shown to be wrong and Zimmerman was found not guilty!

If you look hard enough, you can discover racism everywhere and against every ethnic group in this country……such attitudes are part of the human condition…..which although in some instances can be visibly present, are not condoned by a large majority of the population. That is why this country has consistently welcomed legal immigration of peoples from all over the world The United States culturally and ethnically is one of most diverse nations in the world and we are told that by 2050 white Americans will be in the minority. Does this sound like a racist country or a welcoming nation who values its ethnic diversity?

After all, President Obama might have gotten over 95% of the black vote in his first election; however, it was white America who actually got him elected President! Does this confirm that America is a racist country? The current issue with President Obama has little to do with his race and more to do with his policies, programs, and radical ideology. Let me just list a number of these:

- Benghazi, Fast and Furious, NSA, IRS, warrantless searches, mobile phone monitoring
- Obamacare pushed through with 60% of the population not wanting it.
- Unemployment nearly doubled, although it has recently been reduced.
- Minority unemployment highest in 35 years
- Young unemployment highest since tracked from 1952
- Poverty rates up 38%
- Homeless rates up 42%
- Home ownership lowest in our history
- took 80 years to get our debt to $8 trillion, O got it to $16 trillion in 3.5 years
- First time in our history only 48% of workers full time
- First time in 15 years salaries have fallen
- Families net worth lowest in 35 years
- instead of waterboarding foreign terrorists, we drone k ill US citizens without due process.

- An absolutely lawless governing style. Each day we get new examples of ruling by decree that undermine constitutional government.
- Micro-regulation coupled with "you didn't build that" has produced the weakest recovery since the Great Depression.

Just to name a few issues, but sadly some of you will say that it is all about racism.
