Once choice is to stay home and bark.

The choice is quite clear,
From nose to my rear,
I'd play there from morning 'til dark.
Second Place - Fanny Lau - $25 American Express Gift Card
There once was a dog named Roxi
A rescue pup with fur that was quite foxy
She bid goodbye to North Carolina
Said, "Hello Boston!" (which was much finer)
Now in her forever home - what moxie!
Third Place - Maureen Buzby - How Do I Chase Thee (a book of dog poetry)
For sure keep your dog on a leash
Though at the park we're allowed to release
The dogs run and play
Stay out of the fray
While neighbors enjoy quiet and peace.
Entries were compiled by the MDS president and then submitted to the rest of the board for voting - entrant names were omitted during the voting process. We had to call in one more active MDS member to vote through tie breakers for second and third place.
Thank you to EVERYONE who entered - we thoroughly enjoyed your creativity and humor. We had so many wonderful entries - will be sharing a limerick or two a day from the entry pool over on our Facebook page up until St. Patrick's Day. Proceeds from the contest will go towards educational programs and materials for dog park patrons.
