MBTA Pedestrian Collision: Melrose Man Struck by Train
A man was struck by a Haverhill Line train in Melrose.

MELROSE, MA—The Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority Transit Police responded to a pedestrian collision at 5:25 p.m. on Monday evening in Melrose.
Transit Police announced Monday that a man was struck by a northbound Haverhill Line train near the vicinity of 94 Vinton Road. Melrose Fire and EMS along with multiple TPD units responded to the scene.
Police have not named the victim.

The victim was pronounced dead at the seen resulting from injuries sustained in the incident. TPD Detectives are currently investigating the incident. Police say that foul play is not suspected.
