Medeiros Puts Melrose First, And Would As Mayor: Letter

In the mayoral race, there is one candidate who has shown that she has put Melrose first every
step of the way. Monica Medeiros has been on the front lines fighting for smart spending,
transparency from City Hall, and for issues that directly impact Melrose residents.

Monica has made this clear through her time on the Board of Aldermen. There, she has asked
hard questions that we deserved answers to. Monica has submitted information requests to
ensure that Melrose residents can make informed decisions with the information they are
entitled to. More recently, Monica has been fighting to ensure that your tax dollars are not
misspent following the override. In fact, she is the only candidate who has promised to begin a
five-year fiscal plan for Melrose. After the override, Melrose deserves a smart financial plan.

Monica has been a leader following the Brazil Street calamity. Along with Alderman MacMaster,
Monica has demanded clarity, answers, and a plan for residents impacted by this terrible
disaster.

Melrose needs a mayor who will fight for Melrose residents in all areas: fiscal management,
transparency, and accountability. For the first time in years, Melrose has a choice for who will
be our mayor. And if you have been concerned with and have been closely following Melrose
