Meet The New Lincoln Elementary Principal

MELROSE, MA — Kristen St. George has been named principal of Lincoln Elementary School, Superintendent Cyndy Taymore announced Friday.

St. George started July 1. She most recently served as interim principal of Hanscom Primary in Lincon from 2016-18. She also principal Belmont Middle School, East Middle School in Braintree, and the John F. Kennedy Middle School in Natick.

"Throughout her experience at Lincoln, Braintree, Belmont and Natick schools, Ms. St. George has implemented clear and consistent strategies that are in line with 21st century learning expectations," Taymore said. "She has a proven track record of success at developing positive relationships with students, faculty and staff, and I look forward to the leadership she'll provide to the Lincoln School community."

St. George got a bachelor's degrees in elementary education and psychology from UMass-Boston and a master's degree in educational leadership and management from Fitchburg State.
