Melrose Boys' Hockey Headed to MIAA Tournament

Melrose High boys’ hockey will take on Chelmsford in the first round of the MIAA North Division 1 tournament on Thursday.

The Red Raiders, who are the seventh seed in the tourney, will play at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, at O’Brien Rink in Woburn.

The team went 12-6-3 in the regular season, while Chelmsford went 10-9-1.

The winner plays Newburyport, which is the number two seed. Woburn, which went 15-1-4 in the regular season, is tied with Burlington, 16-1-4, for the number one seed.
