Do you recognize the man who allegedly stole a credit card and rung up nearly $700 in purchases over the weekend?
MELROSE, MA — An alleged credit card thief is on the loose, and police are asking for assistance in identifying him. Chief Michael Lyle said the man pictured above and below stole a resident's card - and $200 - from his vehicle, and has been on a small shopping spree.
The suspect has rung up nearly $700 between Jan. 13-15 at Melrose locations like Honey Dew Donuts, Walgreens, Rite Aid, and Shaw’s, as well as at a Cumberland Farms outside of Melrose and an auto supply store in Woburn.
"We’re hoping that members of the public can help us identify this individual," Lyle said. "If you recognize him, please contact the Melrose Police Department immediately."
