MELROSE, MA — The following are excerpts from last week's Melrose Police log:
Monday, Feb. 11
4:43 p.m - News media was on Lincoln School property. Police deemed all vehicles and equipment were on public property.

Tuesday, Feb. 12
2:43 p.m. - A car accident resulted in two cars being towed on Spear Street. A 29-year-old Somerville woman was issued a summons on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Thursday, Feb. 14
2:24 p.m. - A caller reports a man wearing a hoodie on Lake Ave. walking a large gray dog looking at packages on steps. Police said they talked to the man - he was from a dog daycare.
Saturday, Feb. 16
10:26 p.m. - Report of a home on Upham Street was egged. Person had info about suspects and vehicle.
10:41 p.m. - Report of a house hit by eggs on Derby Road.
Sunday, Feb. 17
6:24 a.m. - A caller reported a young male in a red-hooded sweathshirt was attempted to open car doors on Lynde Street.
11:11 a.m. - A caller reported a past breaking and entering on Malvern Street, saying they believe they found the suspect's phone.
